After a few days at uni, I went back to Sydney with a friend for the Easter/ANZAC day long weekend. It was a 5 day long weekend in which we just checked out a bit more of Sydney sights and hung out with his family for Easter day.
As I got a pass to see a bunch of sights in Sydney we first took the Manly ferry to OceanWorld which was not as good as I expected, but we did see some sharks.

The pictures don't do it justice |
The next day we went to the Powerhouse museum as the weather was a bit rainy. The museum was pretty busy due to the weather but once we got inside it was pretty good. There were all sorts of exhibits from space ships, steam engines to high school projects.

This was an extra long weekend as they also had the ANZAC day parade in Sydney which is for the national day of remembrance for the Australia & New Zealand Army Corps. The weather was a bit on and off but it was good being able to go there and see the troops of past and present. There was a large amount of people in attendance that day, and the parade lasted about 3 hours in total I believe.
After that we just walked a bit around Sydney and saw the Sydney Observatory before heading back to my friends place.
Later that evening their family took us out for some Mexican food nearby and then we drove around a bit. They showed me the city of Sydney from both sides at night. One of them from North Head (Which is one side of the entrance to Sydney Harbour) and the other was from a viewpoint not to far from their house. After seeing the city from a distance at night we went to the corso at Manly and got some delicious ice cream before making our way back to their place. Overall it was a really good day!
That basically marked the end of the Easter break, so we headed back to CSU. All in all it was a really good break and I really enjoyed staying at my friends place and seeing a bit more of the city.
