Last weekend we hosted the Ultimate Frisbee Stampede Tournament which brought about 10 teams from all around to Bathurst for two days of competition. The first day was the different university teams competing, and the second day was teams of random players playing for fun. Between the two days there was also a fun night for all the teams that came out. We could have not have had better weather for the tournament as it was sunny and pretty warm for both days.
Our team, the CSU Falcons, managed to win the first day of the tournament which was the first time that has ever happened.
The next big event for the Frisbee team will be the Eastern University Games in Canberra at the beginning of July which our team will be going to. From what I hear it should be pretty fun and I am looking forward to it.
As a side note, I have now booked my bus pass, flight, and some of the things that I will be doing on my Australian East Coast trip from mid-June till July. Also today marks the point where I have 1 month left of uni here and 2 months left before I head back to Canada (Unless I extend it for a few weeks which is very tempting). I'm trying to enjoy every moment I have here!
